FOTON Presents eAURORA Electric City Bus in Hannover
FOTON says it presented the 12-metre eAURORA battery-electric city bus at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 in Hannover. Its September 21 announcement describes a low-floor layout and wide passenger doors, placing passenger boarding alongside the vehicle’s operating requirements. Read the manufacturer’s announcement.
What the announcement establishes
The report identifies an exhibited vehicle and describes the manufacturer’s design priorities. It is not an operating record from a buyer’s route. A vehicle displayed at an international exhibition should not be assumed to match every configuration offered under the same product name.
Turn passenger flow into a question for the supplier

A city-bus proposal can be reviewed against a specific service pattern: where passengers enter and leave, how boarding is organised at busy stops, and how the interior layout supports the expected mix of passengers.
